    Adult Education Director 

    NEO is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, inspiring leader to serve as the Adult Education Director (AED).  The AED will responsible for the management of the Adult Basic Education Program.  Potential candidates must be able to demonstrate intimate knowledge of adult education regulations and policies on a state, regional and local level.  The Adult Education Director will be responsible for advancing the program’s goals while producing measurable student outcomes.  At a minimum candidates must have earned a bachelor’s degree in education, workforce development or a related field and be able to communicate his/her passion for the adult learner.  We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of supervisory experience and 2 years of teaching experience. The AED must be able to communicate a vision and plan for the growth, outcomes and success of the program.  The AED must also be able to build relationships with outside agencies, business and other community organizations that will foster the growth of our students.  A person with advanced technical knowledge is preferred and must have working knowledge of InTERS is required.  The AED will also be required to be able to analyze data to drive and make decisions that are for the growth of the program.
